One of my favorite college theater professors once told me that he could see me having a career in “B horror movies” - referring not to my acting abilities (I hope!) but to my blood-curdling shriek, of which I am pretty darn proud. Once, at a spooky fright-fest Halloween attraction, I screamed so loudly that the employees dressed up as ghouls got scared.
Well, it finally came in handy! Yesterday I filmed a short scary movie with USC student Ricky Nachbar, called “Are You Afraid?” I play a girl whose friends keep mysteriously turning up dead… uh oh.
