November updates!

I've been out of town for the past couple of weeks, hence my lack of posts. But fear not, my time away was well-spent! I've been soaking up some theatrical greatness on the other side of the pond; namely, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which I saw a few years ago when it first opened and adored so much that I had to see it again, and the Barbican's production of Hamlet. (Yes, the one starring Benedict Cumberbatch.)

And don't think we neglected the world of British film and TV! Because we certainly did not - visits were made to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden, the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff, and Barry Island, aka the home of Gavin and Stacey.

Me with my new BFFs. (Marco's Cafe, Barry Island, Wales)

It was a wonderful trip. And now I'm very excited to be home and back to work on some fun upcoming projects, including a short film which will be going into production in early 2016, and a comedy/horror web series that should be making its way onto the interwebz in time for next year's Halloween. Happy November, all!

Kidnapped by Craigslist: The Graveyard Shift named a 2010 highlight!

The LA STAGE TIMES has named Kidnapped By Craigslist: The Graveyard Shift one of its “laugh out loud” highlights of 2010! Click here to read the article. Also mentioned is Nation of Two, an excellent play featuring my very talented friend Bethany Esfandiari. Awesome way to end the year. Merry Christmas Eve, all!

Blast from the Past - Terminus Americana

Since I just posted about my current play, Kidnapped By Craigslist: The Graveyard Shift, it seems only fitting that I make a small shout-out to the show that first introduced me to TheSpyAnts - last summer’s Terminus Americana. We ran from July 18 to August 15, 2009. It was a pretty wild ride…and a fun introduction to an awesome theater company.

Kidnapped by Craigslist: The Graveyard Shift

Hey guys! Just a wee update to let you all know that I’m currently in the midst of rehearsals for a new play, Kidnapped By Craigslist: The Graveyard Shift. It’s being produced by TheSpyAnts Theatre Company, as a sequel to their 2008/2009 production of Kidnapped By Craiglist, which was extremely well received. Set in a spooky Halloween-themed carnival, the play is a collection of real Craiglist posts, brought to life by an extremely kooky cast of characters (including yours truly). We open on October 16 at the Elephant Lab Theater. Check back for updates!
